William Didier-Pouget (1864 - 1959)
Born in Toulouse on November 14, 1864 Didier-Pouget specialized in landscape and garden scenes in the French countryside. He received his artistic training in the atelier’s of A. Baudit and Auguin & Maxime Lelanne. His exhibited works include L’Etang de Cernay (1886), Maree basse (1889), Landes de Gascogne (1890), Matinee dans la vallee de la Nivelle (1894) and Derniers rayons (1895). Didier-Pouget received an honorable mention at the Salon of 1890 and a third class medal at the Salon of 1896.
